New York State Museums Programs
The office has collaborated with the New York State Museum to cover students’ needs in their study. Many programs are offered in this museum, which is in line with the education system. The programs are not as strict as what educational sectors commonly offer, but is both fun and enjoyable, without losing knowledge and information of the NYS education department.
This NYS education department office offers various programs. First is a family fun holiday vacation program. This program seems like a reward for the students when they finish their study and have their days off. Holidays must be fun for them. Yet, if they can still learn on holiday, why not try that? This program enables the students to explore the activity with a fun and joyful atmosphere at the New York State Museum. Here, they will know their observation skills to find objects which are hidden somewhere. They will see the stars when stepping at the inflatable planetarium . This activity is a fun learning type since they use either hand and brain in putting a creative mark offered in the project.
Another program offered in this NYS education department is Thursday Music Jam. This started on Thursday, 12 until 2 p.m, on the fourth floor. Everyone is welcome to play or listen to the music. Various music features are jigs, waltzes, hornpipes, marches and reels. Yet, other popular songs will also be mixed for entertainment. People in the circle will have a different tune.
Museum Trip
Besides playing music or family day holiday vacation, you can also visit the museum and find out what is being displayed there. This New York State Museum, as a corporation with the cultural office of the NYS education department. The trip costs $2.590 which includes a round trip and all taxes as well as the fuel needed.
